PARENT COUNSELLING

Parenting can feel overwhelming, isolating, and emotionally

Many parents come to counselling feeling unsure, exhausted, or worried they’re getting it wrong.

You don’t need to have all the answers to ask for support.

Is this you?

Do you feel unsure how to respond to your child’s emotions or behaviour?
Are big feelings, meltdowns, or constant tension leaving you drained?
Are you parenting a child with ADHD, autism, or additional needs and feeling overwhelmed?
Do you want to feel calmer, more confident, and more connected in your parenting?

How I support parents

I work with parents to understand what sits beneath behaviour and emotions — both in children and in themselves.
Together, we build practical, compassionate strategies that support regulation, connection, and emotional safety at home.

Parenting counselling can support you to:

  • Understand your child’s emotional and developmental needs

  • Respond with calm and confidence during challenging moments

  • Strengthen connection and trust in your relationship with your child

  • Feel supported, reassured, and less alone

You matter in this too

Supporting your child starts with supporting you.
Counselling offers space to pause, reflect, and find your way forward with clarity and care — without judgement.

My Story to Motherhood.

Motherhood changed me deeply. After many years, when I finally became pregnant, it brought both joy and vulnerability.

Parenting opened parts of me I didn’t expect — emotionally, physically, and mentally — and it challenged my sense of identity, regulation, and confidence in ways no professional training ever could.

Like many parents, I discovered that loving your child doesn’t automatically make parenting feel calm or easy. It can bring anxiety, overwhelm, old wounds, and a constant questioning of whether you’re “doing it right.”
